The eagle of couples on the 14th was not the only dazzling blow he was born.

Although they are not on the green and at the bottom of a hill, the couples decided to use his putter. He rolled the ball on the hill and on the green and gave it enough speed to continue directly in the hole for a birdie.
The 1992 Masters champion ended up 1 sous and gave himself a chance to cup on Friday.
He is the second oldest player to break it by masters at 65 years old. Tom Watson did it at 66 in 2015.
The couples became the oldest player to have ever cut the Masters in 2023, achieving the feat at 63 years, 6 months and five days. Only Jack Nicklaus made more cuts to Augusta National (37) than couples (31).

Couples at 11 top-10 and 20 top-25 in his master’s career and completed 72 holes in major in five different decades.
With his departure in the Masters this year, he became the 15th player in the history of the Masters with at least 40 departures.
