The amount of fines has not been disclosed.
ESPN and the Associated Press first reported the penalties.
Freight coach Stephanie White would not be sentenced to a fine for his comments on the WNBA commission. She deplored the lack of control that the referees had on the game while competitiveness was starting to accelerate.
“This is what is happening,” she said, via Indy Star. “You have competitive women who are the best in the world in what they do and when you allow them to play physical, and you allow these things to happen, they will compete and they will have the back of their teammates. This is exactly what you expect from fierce competition.

“I started talking to those responsible for the first quarter, and we knew it was going to happen. You knew it was going to happen. They had to take control. They must be better. They must be better.”
White said each coach raises officiating problems during the League meetings and understands that work becomes more difficult, but officials must find a way to remedy their calls with the league constantly evolving.
“The game has changed so much. The players are faster, they are better, they are bigger, they are stronger, they are as good as they have ever been, as athletic as they have ever been. The game is fast now. Things happen quickly,” said White. “Everyone is improving, except officials. So we have to find a way to remedy it.
