Peshawar:
The chief of Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and the district emir of Malakand, Mufti Kifayatullah, died on Thursday. He was under treatment in an Islamabad hospital after suffering from injuries during a shooting incident at his residence in Batkhela.
According to police and party sources, Kifayatullah was seriously injured a few days ago when her son opened fire inside the family home. He was first transferred to a Peshawar hospital and was then transferred to Islamabad for a treatment, where he took his last breath.
The head of Jui-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed his sorrow about the death of the leader of the senior party, describing his disappearance as a great loss for the party.
In a statement, he said: “The services of Mufti Kifayatullah for the party and his commitment to the cause of religion and politics will always remain memories. May Allah grant him the highest place of Jannah and make patience to the bereaved family. ”
Earlier this week, the tragic incident cost the life of Kifayatullah’s son and daughter’s life, while his wife was also seriously injured.
