Travis Kelce almost admitted this week that he plans to retire after 12 seasons of the NFL. Apparently, Kansas City chiefs do not want to wait for its decision for a very long time.
Star Tight End has just played in its third consecutive Super Bowl and, at 35, there is not much to accomplish in what is sure to be a career in the temple of fame.
Well, the chiefs would have given him a sweet delay of “around March 14” to make his decision, according to The Athletic.

The date is logical, because it is two days after the official start of the free agency, but probably more important, its $ 11.5 million list bonus is due the next day.
An NFL.com report The Super Bowl Eve said that Kelce had to “take time after the Super Bowl, consider her future and make a decision before the free agency”.
In the last episode of his “New Heights” podcast which he co-animated with his future brother of the Jason’s fame, he said that he “kicked each that I can on the road” .
“I do not make crazy decisions, but right now, the greatest thing is to be there for my teammates and to be there for my coaches, understanding that there are many things in this thing. I was lucky in the past five, six of the years, I played more football than anyone, “Kelce said. “The fact that we continue to go to these AFC championships and Super Bowls, it means that I play three additional games more than everyone in the whole league. It’s a lot of wear on your body.”

“It’s a lot of time in the building. … This process can be exhausting. It can weigh on you. It can make you better, and it can drive you crazy,” he added. “Right now, it was one of those things where it was driving me crazy this year. It happens when you head back new in your career.”
With the success of the chiefs in the past eight seasons, Kelce has Has played 25 qualifying games, adding almost a season and half a period to the 175 regular season games he played during his career.
Clips of the apparent absence of Kelce’s effort in the Super Bowl have become viral, the fans thinking that it is rather verified.
Among the tight ends in the history of the NFL, Kelce ranks third in the captures (1,004) and Yards (12,150) and fifth in Tours (77). This occurs despite 11 tight bits, including those who have it in front of him in these previous categories, playing more games than him. For reference, Tony Gonzalez, who leads captures and yards, played in 270 games, 95 more than Kelce.

However, it is clear that he is no longer his all-pro Self. This season has marked the first time since 2015 in which Kelce has played in at least 16 games and has not reached the 1,000 yards mark. He also scored only three affected in the regular season, the lowest note in his career outside his recruit season of a match where he did not take an offensive click before undergoing a knee operation.
If the Super Bowl Lix was the last time that the fans saw Kelce on the ground, it is certainly the end of a legendary career. Kelce did 10 pro-bols and was either a first or a second All-Pro team seven times.
