Travis Kelce was one of the two chiefs of Kansas City, with Ty’quan Thornton, to wear shirts that read “Free 4”, a wink to the large receiver suspended Rashee Rice.
Rice, during his third season in the NFL, purges a suspension of six games following his involvement in an accident where he was accused of collision involving serious bodily and racing injuries on a highway causing bodily injuries. He pleaded guilty in July and as part of the Rice advocacy agreement, he received a delayed probation of five years and 30 days in prison as a condition of probation.
Kelce and Thornton entered Geha Field on Sunday at the Arrowhead stadium, before their revenge on the Super Bowl Lix with the Eagles of Philadelphia with graphic t-shirts that presented photos of rice.

The clothes attracted the attention of March Lenahan, who represents one of the victims of the accident.

Rice was the driver of a Lamborghini Urus who went to 119 MPH on the North Central highway in Dallas when he made “multiple aggressive maneuvers around traffic” before crashing into other vehicles, according to the prosecutors. Rice did not check these vehicles involved in the accident and decided to flee the scene on foot.

Rice withdrew the first two games from the chiefs, and they are certainly missing. They have been 0-2 for the first time since 2014, because Patrick Mahomes has only been 211 yards by the pass so far. It is eligible to return to the chiefing line line in week 7, when they face Las Vegas raiders on October 19.
