Chinese Chinese Chief of Chinese Liberation Army Air Force (Plaaf), Lieutenant-General Wang Gang, praised the management of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for his professional sense and his strategic foresight while paying tribute to the exemplary performance of the PAF during the recent conflict with India.
A high-level defense delegation, led by Lieutenant-General Gang, visited the chief of air chief the air marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu at the air seat in Islamabad on Tuesday, the army media wing reported.
According to inter-service public relations (ISPR), questions of mutual interest, regional security dynamics and avenues for improved bilateral cooperation, in particular in air power and operational synergy, were discussed during the meeting.

Lieutenant-General Gang congratulated the PAF pilots for providing a decisive and measured response under the resolved direction of the marshal of the Air Sidhu, describing it as an example of a manual of precision, discipline and courage in the face of an uninsured aggression, said the ISPR.
“He expressed a profound appreciation of the high state of operational preparation and the advanced capacity of the Pakistani Air Force,” he added.
The Chinese air manager was particularly impressed by the transparent integration of the PAF of multi-domain operations, qualifying him as a brand of modern air war. He transmitted the lively interest of the PLAAF to learn from the proven experience in the combat of the PAF in multi-domain operations, the press release said.
On this occasion, the chief marshal of the air Sidhu warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and reiterated that Pakistan and China benefit from historical and proven links rooted in mutual trust, strategic convergence and shared aspirations for peace and regional stability, she added.

According to the ISPR, the LT General Gang received a complete briefing on the structure of the modern force of the PAF, the strategic initiatives and the evolution of its operational doctrine.
The chief marshal of the air Sidhu also reaffirmed the strong bond of friendship between the two air forces and reiterated the PAF’s commitment to extend cooperation in training, technology and operational areas.
“The meeting testifies to the shared determination of Pakistan and China to advance their strategic partnership experienced by in -depth cooperation and a collaboration focused on innovation,” concluded the press release.
