The “complaint of prejudices” of the opposition in civil rewards is expanding the tumult of the Senate

Islamabad:

Friday, the upper room of the Parliament witnessed the outcry while the opposition legislators accused the government of politicizing the civil prices of this year by allegedly promoting ministers and cash flow benches, while ignoring deserving personalities.

The Senate session, chaired by President Yousaf Raza Gillani, became a stormy after announcing that several members of the cabinet and senators had been conferred on national honors on August 14. Opposition members demanded the disclosure of the criteria used for selection.

Among the winners were Ishaq Dar, Mohsin Naqvi, Musadik Malik, Azam Nazeer Tarar, Faisal Sabzwari, Senor Sherry Rehman, Senator Bushra Anjum, Ahsan Iqbal and Ahad Cheema. IRFAN SIDDIQUI and SARMAD ALI must receive their awards on March 23 next year.

Senator Falak Naz Chitrali asked, “What war did Atta Tarar fought?” While Senator Humayun Mohmand has noticed sarcastically that “the war designer Nawaz Sharif was not awarded”. PTI Senator, Faisal Javed, said that party social media activists have at the end of Indian propaganda “day and night” but were ignored, accusing the government of “destroying the sacred character” of honors.

Defending the prices, the minister of Law, Azam Nazeer Tarar, said that the Martyrs and the heroes of the Marka-E-Haq had been recognized, including those who lost their house. He said that some senators had “fought on diplomatic fronts abroad” and thanked PTI’s social media workers for their online role in the campaign.

The atmosphere has become tense when Senator Faisal Javed raised the omission of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah from the official advertisements of the independence day, displaying the photo of the founder on the Senate soil. “Explain, or we will not let this house run,” he warned. Tarar expressed ignorance of the case, called “injuring” omission and promised an investigation. The house then unanimously adopted a resolution welcoming the founding fathers, the editors of the Constitution and the armed forces.

Earlier, Senator Zeeshan Khanzada criticized that, even if prisoners often receive sentence remission on August 14, PTI leaders rather handed over “10 -year -old prison mandates such as battle sales rates”.

In addition, Senator Kamran Murtaza expressed concerns about the suspension of mobile internet in 36 Balutchistan districts and the presumed closure of rail, road and air, warning of damage like Pakistan.

The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, said that only mobile internet services had been suspended from August 6 to 31 due to “credible security threats” under the 1996 law on telephone lines, air operations and road and rail links).

“These measures are taken in specific areas faced with threats, not with unrelated regions,” he said, citing terrorist attacks in the province, including on the Jaffar Express and the army public school in Khuzdar.

On the concerns about prepaid internet packages, Dr. Chaudhry has committed to taking the question with the ministry concerned, ensuring that unused credit during the suspension period would be postponed to the following month.

The session was adjourned until Monday evening.
