Islamabad:
A lower court of Islamabad refused a request on Thursday to let the lawyer general record a declaration on behalf of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur in a case related to an alleged resumption of arms and illegal weapons.
The court confirmed the arrest warrants and ordered Gandapur to record his declaration in person or by video link at the next hearing.
The judicial magistrate Mubashhir Hassan Chishti rejected the plea submitted by the Advocate General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to record the declaration under article 342 on behalf of the CM Ali Amin Gandapur.
