The Kansas City chiefs watched Jalen Houter and the Philadelphia Eagles would kneel their second victory to start the 2025 season.
In turn, the chiefs fell to 0-2 for the first time since 2014.
It is unusual to see Kansas City in this position, but the renowned temple of professional football Dan Marino does not panic on the scenario. He thinks that the chiefs, as they have done in the past, will overcome adversity.

A great reason for this confidence is the quarter-Arrière Patrick Mahomes.
“I think that Patrick is probably the best quarter of the league,” Marino told PK Press Club Digital while discussing her personal health course after receiving a diagnosis of Mash, also known as the fatty liver disease. “He has shown it in recent years. He is an incredible athlete, an incredible talent. He is a positive guy, a leader. I think he will bring these guys back.
Patrick Mahomes takes the career first step
“It’s one of these things – it’s 0-2 and it happens. They had a difficult couple, but I have the feeling that they are fine.”
Since the 2020 season, 42 teams have started 0-2 and only five have continued to make the playoffs. Statistically, the chances of the chiefs are thin, but it would always be a shock if they lacked the playoffs.
Kansas City has repeatedly shown in the Mahoma times on which even the chances of the thinnest qualifiers are worth betting. And this time, they still have 15 regular season games with which to work with.

A factor in their first difficulties was the lack of healthy actors in attack. The second -year receiver, Xavier Worthy, is expected to intensify the first Larget of Mahomas while Rashee Rice is serving a suspension of six games, fought his shoulder on the third snapshot of the season.
The precipitated attack was also ineffective. Mahomes leads the team with 123 yards on the ground in two weeks, while the Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt ranges each have only 47 yards.
Could things be different once rice and dignified return? Maybe. But head coach Andy Reid and the Chiefs know that this does not help them at the moment.
“Listen, if you don’t have all your great players with you, I don’t care who tells you – that will affect your offense,” said Marino. “But you have to find a way to overcome this. You overcome it in a way of playing football without error and understanding how you are going to score points.
“It is a kind of situation in which they are at the moment, but I have a feeling that Patrick will be fine.”

The chiefs were also not blown away. During week 1, Justin Herbert and Los Angeles Chargers played an almost perfect match in Sao Paulo, Brazil, winning a 27-21 victory. During the week 2, the defense of the Eagles was held strong in a 20-17 victory despite a quieter offensive performance than in his victory for the Super Bowl Lix.
Then, the Chiefs will meet another 0-2 team while they go to the Metlife Stadium to face the New York Giants on Sunday evening.
