Islamabad:
The government has extended the deadline for the submission of expressions of interest (EOIS) for the purchase of the national flag carrier, PIA, of two weeks, announced on Tuesday the ministry of privatization.
The ministry did not provide any reason for the extension of the deadline from June 3 to 19. He has also not revealed whether an EOI had been submitted so far for the sale of a participation of 51 to 100% in airlines.
The previous attempt to privatize the debt airline failed last year when only one offer was received which was much lower than the price of more than $ 300 million.
