A Little League team in Venezuela will not be able to participate in the senior the Little League World Series after their travel visas in the United States refused.

The Senior Baseball World Series, a tournament for players aged 13 to 16, is played out every year in Easley, in South Carolina, and begins on Saturday.

The Venezuelan team went to Colombia two weeks ago to ask their visas at the United States Embassy in Bogotá.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
