The American Department of Education (DOE) announced on Monday that it recognizes June as “title IX months”.
The announcement came in honor of the 53rd anniversary of title IX of educational amendments (1972) in the process of promoting. The official date is June 23.
“June will now be dedicated to commemorating women and celebrating their struggle and making equal educational opportunities,” the DOE said in a statement. “Throughout the month, the ministry will highlight the measures taken to reverse the inheritance of the Biden administration from SAPER IX and to announce additional measures to protect women in accordance with the real objective of title IX.”

“By prohibiting sex-based discrimination in programs funded by the federal government, #Titleix has opened countless sporting and university opportunities for women and girls across the country. This month, we are celebrating the 53rd anniversary of title IX and will take more measures to protect the hard rights of women,” added the DOE in an X post.
The American Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon, said in her own declaration: “The ministry recognizes June as a month of title IX ” to honor the hard -won civil rights of women and demonstrates the unwavering commitment of the Trump administration to restore them to the extent of the law.
“Title IX provides protections by women on the basis of sex in all educational activities, which include their equal opportunities in sporting and separated intimate spaces, including sororities and housing,” she continued. “This administration is struck on each front to protect the sports of women and girls, intimate spaces, dormitories and housing and fraternal and panhellénic organizations.”
This decision comes a few days after Trans athletes in different states recently dominated their competition.
In Minnesota, a softball launcher, born a man, led the Lycée de Champlin Park to the state tournament with the help of a bleaching during the final of the section on Thursday.

On Saturday, only a few days after President Donald Trump sent a warning to California to leave a man to compete on girls’ athletics, the state has enabled a Trans athlete, Ab Hernandez, to take two state titles against female competitors.
In another track conference on Saturday, this one in Oregon, two high school seniors, Reese Eckard of Sherwood High School and Alexa Anderson of Tigard High School, left their respective places on the podium next to a trans athlete who represented Ida B. Wells High School.
In Washington, Transgenre Veronica Garcia competition won the 400 -meter state championship for the second consecutive season.
The announcement came “initiatives for the month of title IX”, including an investigation into public schools of the County of the University of Wyoming and Jefferson in Colorado to “allow men to join and live in intimate and communal spaces reserved for women,” said the DOE.

Several other states have challenged Trump’s decree on the issue, which led to the temporary loss of federal funding.
