The deputy for the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah landed in Pakistan for a two -day trip

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, arrived in Islamabad on Sunday for an official two-day visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

He was received at the airport by the Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar. The visit was described as “important” and the reflection of “deeply rooted and historical links” between the two countries.

“This high -level visit highlights the commitment of the two parties to expand the scope of mutual cooperation in the fields of common interest,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

During the visit, Sheikh Abdullah should hold interviews with senior Pakistani officials, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The main problems of the agenda include trade, investment, energy collaboration, regional security and improved contacts of people to people. The two parties should also examine regional developments and discuss joint initiatives.
