The father of the second state of Florida, Ethan Pritchard, offered macabre details on the shooting which left his son injured after the upset victory of the team over the Alabama.
The first -year football player was shot dead at the back of the head as he was driving and stayed in a stable state in a Tallahassee hospital in Florida, his father, Earl, told WFTV in Florida on Wednesday.

“He was actually in the car taking my sister to the corner of the street to his daughter’s house to drop her off,” Earl Pritchard told the station. “They turned the corner, and as soon as they turned the corner, they heard shots.”
The shooting occurred while Ethan Pritchard led his aunt from a family gathering in Havana, Florida, according to ESPN. Officials would still have investigated the incident.
Pritchard played football at the High School High School in Sanford, Florida, and was a four -star recruit. It was classified n ° 437 in the 247sports composite and n ° 507 at the national level in the ranking of the ON3 industry. ESPN ranked Pritchard as second n ° 39 at the national level and Florida player No. 64.

As a senior, he helped lead Seminole High School to a 10-2 file and his second consecutive regional final in 2024, recording 39 plated and seven plated for the defeat in nine games.
