Zach Cregger terrified us in 2022 with his horror blow Barbarous And he is ready to start again with the new film Weapons.
It is not easy to follow a film in small groups. With Barbarous marking an impressive 92% on the rotten tomatoes of criticism, horror fans hope the same standard with regard to Weapons.
In Cregger’s latest film, we follow the mysterious disappearances of several children who have fled from their houses at 2:17 a.m. Weapons The viral marketing campaign has made everyone talk, and now the pressure is on the fact that it is as good as Barbarous.
Addressing Techradar, Congger told me how he felt in advance on Weapons‘ release. He said, “I’m nervous just because I love the film so much, and I want people to go see it, but I feel very confident because I feel safe in the film I made.”
“I like Weapons. I think it’s a bigger riff on Barbarous. It’s more and in the right direction. I feel like I can sleep deeply at night, whatever happens, knowing as if I was doing my job, but you know, you hope that people will present themselves. “”

Weapons is also the first time that Cregger has marked a film alongside two of his friends, so fans will be able to hear part of his music on this project.
He said to me: “I did it with two of my best friends with whom I was in a group in high school, and we just have the same musical spirit and therefore the three of us, Hays and Ryan Holladay and I have sort of marked him.
“We marked the film before shooting it, then when I changed it, you know, we just threw the score.”
One of the things I loved Barbarous was the only word, impactful title, something with which he did again Weapons. I asked questions about the title and he said: “I think it’s such a mysterious thing and with mystery, it’s just incredible. It’s just good.”
