Laurin Talese was used to sing “lift each voice and sing” Thursday evening before the first match of the NFL season between the Cowboys of Philadelphia and Dallas.
Since the summer of troubles on the death of George Floyd, the NFL has enabled the teams to blackmail the song, known as the national black anthem. The song made appearances during seasonal opening clashes as well as super bowls before kick -off.

The NBC broadcast has also shown one of the messages in the Lincoln Financial Field goal area. The message said: “It takes us all.”
Playing again on the song before the start of the NFL season sparked ardent reactions on social networks.

Talese received a standing ovation from those inside the stadium at the time.
She told the Eagles website that it was her first time in Lincoln Financial Field, but has become a big fan of the team over the years.

“I feel so excited and honored,” she said. “I am really excited to see what it will feel. … I love to feel the pulse of the city, but I have never gone to a game. So, it’s my entry. It’s my foray into the Fandom of real Eagles, and be able to be really part of it, like, what better way? It is a little crazy, in fact.”
