The last of us Episode 7 of season 2 is now available – and with it, the last episode of the incredibly popular show ended.
Like his predecessor, season 2 of HBO’s television adaptation has been the appointment for all of us in the past seven weeks. And, while dust sets up on its final of almost 50 minutes, I imagine that you have big questions about what happened and the future of the show.
So how The last of us End of season 2? Are there any final credits scenes? And when do we think that season 3 will arrive in the world? I will aim to answer these questions below, but keep in mind that Complete spoilers immediately follow for The last of usFinal of season 2. Make sure you have watched it before continuing.
Who dies in the last of us season 2 episode 7?
The last of us The last episode of the television show contains three dead of great characters.
The most unexpected of these, and probably the most shocking since the disappearance of Joel in episode 2 of season 2, is that of Jesse. The close friend of the former friend of Ellie and Dina (and the father of the child to be born of Dina) is killed by Abby when she alone ensures the theater of Seattle which is the basis of operations of Ellie and Dina since the fourth episode of this season.
Jesse’s death will probably not shock those who have played The last of us part IIAlias the Naughty Dog Video Game, season 2 is based. And if you had paid attention to the prefiguration throughout the episode of season 2, as Jesse constantly expressing his wish to get out of Seattle in one piece, I doubt that you would have been amazed by his death.
But why does Abby kill him? The reason is simple: Ellie accidentally killed Owen and Mel, two members of the Abby party who helped her find and assassinate Joel in episode 2. Abby Avenger, then, wants to take revenge on Ellie assassinating two of her closest friends.
Having learned the location of Abby de Nora in episode 5 – In doing so, the Seattle Aquarium is not too far from the essential Ferris wheel of the city – Ellie infiltrates the building and meeting Owen and Mel looking for Abby.
Always traumatized from how much she tortured Nora two episodes ago, Ellie says that she will not shoot Owen and Mel if they tell her where Abby is now. Owen initially refuses, but to buy and Mel for some time, he finally agrees to show Ellie where she can find Abby on a map.
However, while Owen approaches the card on a table, it makes a movement to grab a handgun to shoot Ellie first. Unfortunately for Owen, Ellie’s survival instincts come into play and she shoots him first.
The ball crosses Owen’s neck, killing it instantly. After leaving the back of Owen’s throat, he hits Mel, who stands behind him. The ball contrasts its neck, pricing an artery in the process, which leads to the collapse and bleeding of MEL.
Usually it would be a tragic accident in its own right – after all, Mel was not armed and had no attempt to harm Ellie. However, Mel aggravates things for Ellie (and, by proxy, we as viewers) before dying by revealing that she is strongly pregnant.
If Ellie felt an incredible guilt and shame about what she had done in Nora, she feels 50 times worse not only to take the life of Mel, but also that of her child to be innocent. It is a moment that strikes even more at home when you consider how much Ellie put a pregnant dina since the pair also left Jackson, Wyoming.
Jesse, Owen and Mel are not the only victims of season 2 episode 7 – Well, that’s this The last of us want you to think. One of the last shots in the final shows abby pointing his handgun on an unarmed Ellie, who shouts “no no!” Before the screen cuts black when a photo is taken.
There is no way that the show Hit Max has just got rid of another of its main characters in Ellie, right? In short: no, she will not die. Ellie is the protagonist of this television series and The last of us part II. Despite the spoilers, its history is far from finished in the live adaptation of HBO.
So who pulled the blow we hear? I’m not going to spoil it now. You will only have to wait until season 3 (more about it later) arrives. Or, you know, you could watch a game of The last of us 2 On YouTube if you want an answer as soon as possible.
Is there a Mid-Credits scene in the last of us, season 2, episode 7?
There is no Mid-Credits scene to stay.
The final scene of this season does not count either. Of course, this leaves a big clue to the way season 3 will start (more about this shortly), but it is a brief scene that takes place before the start of the end credits. So, it cannot be classified as a traditional stinger of average credits.
Does the last final episode of season 2 have a post-key scene?
No. The last of us Season 2 does not have a post-key scene either. Depending on the end of the last episode of the show, it does not need it.
When will the last season 3 be published?
We don’t know. HBO only confirmed that The last of us Season 2 would not be the last chapter in the successful series in April, so it will be a few years before the release of one of the best programs in Max.
It is likely that work has been going behind the scenes of season 3 for some time. Indeed, I would be surprised that the main creative team of the show has not written its scripts, the location scouting and the realization of other elements of pre-production for months at this stage.
Nevertheless, with the shooting still to start The last of us Season 3, I suspect that it will be mid-2027 at the earliest before getting around the world.
What does the last final for season 2 of season 3 tell us?
The final scene of episode 7 of season 2 suggests that next season will give us an entirely different perspective on the events that take place during the first 72 hours of Ellie and Dina in Seattle.
After the screen has been reduced to black in the final of this season, many viewers could have expected that the credits will drive, leaving us on a cliffhanger.
Instead, a new scene begins a few seconds later, bringing us together with Abby while she was awakened by Manny. He tells her that “they” will not be happy if she keeps them wait, which Abby replies that she will be there in five minutes.
Once she has fully arrived, Abby comes out on a balcony overlooking a football stadium that has been reused as headquarters of the antagonistic faction led by Isaac known as the Washington Liberation Front (WLF). After examining the scene, Abby turns inside while the words “Seattle, the first day” appear in the lower left corner of the screen.
It is the same place and the same horoding that appeared in episode 4 of season 2 when Ellie and Dina arrive for the first time in Seattle. SO, The last of us The first episodes of season 3, if not the entire next season, will return in time and cover the same three-day period in the American city of the North West through Abby’s eyes.
It will not be a surprise for those who played The last of us part II. As a above-mentioned video game deuteronist, Abby was a playable character for half of the story represented in the second entry of the acclaimed and multi-laureate franchise of Naughty Dog. This means that its side of the history based in Seattle, which takes place simultaneously to that of Ellie, will be animated in season 3 of the HBO television adaptation.
There is also a lot of ground to cover in the abby -centered part of history. What did Owen and Mel planned before Ellie interrupted them? Who is Mel’s baby’s father? How did Abby know where to find Ellie and Co. in Seattle? What convinced Isaac to choose Abby as a new WLF leader? Why does Isaac think that the current WLF leadership should perish during the assault against the headquarters of the Seraphites? And does Manny meet the same fate as Owen, Mel and Nora at Ellie or the hands of someone else, or is he still alive somewhere?
These questions will have to answer season 3 and beyond if The last of us Officially ends with its four rumor plan plan. I could provide more details now, but again, I don’t want to spoil anything significant in the trips of Ellie and Abby from this moment in history. So, unless you rush on the internet now, you will have to wait until season 3 arrives for them.
