Barely a few years ago, Arch Manning was one of the country’s most sought after recruits in the country. He finally decided to take his potential and high level surname in Austin.
When Quinn Ewers said for the NFL draft, he opened the door to Manning to go to the role of the starter for the Texas Longhorns in 2025.
While spring matches across the country are starting, the host and commentator of ESPN Acvis have made a daring prediction on the role that Manning could play when he goes to the next stage of his university career.

As the season closes, the media threshing surrounding Manning is required to degenerate. Davis suggested that Manning could become “the ultimate villain” because some fans will eventually appreciate it, while others could feel more feelings of resentment.

“It is unfortunate. Due to the attention he will attract, he will become a favorite of fans of those outside of Texas. And (for) others outside of Texas, he will become the ultimate villain, and I do not only want to say the people of Oklahoma,” said Davis during a recent edition of the “Gameday Podcast College”.

Davis then compared the Manning Hype train to what often happens when a new film or a television program becomes popular and is well received by the public, but inevitably, some will oppose it strongly or try to discredit everything together.
“This is what will happen with Arch,” predicted Davis.

Manning appeared in 10 games last season, two of whom he started in the place of an injured ewers.
The young quarter-Arrière finished the 2024 season with 939 yards by the pass, nine affected and two interceptions.
Texas beat Clemson in the first round of the university football playoffs, before an excited victory in overtime against Arizona State in the quarter -finals. The possible national champion Ohio State Buckeyes Eliminated the longhorns from the connection of the playoffs in January.
Texas opens the 2025 season against Buckeyes in Columbus on August 30.
