The man, who was a French soldier, descended quickly when the right side of his parachute remained stuck on the roof. He hung about 50 feet above the crowd that came to watch Toulouse face the sales sharks.

The firefighters needed a long scale to reach the paratrooper and save him safely. The man seemed unscathed when he was helped. The crowd started to applaud as it reached security.

The firefighters also received a huge acclamation once they were able to reduce the parachute.
