The event pays tribute to the national heroes

Islamabad:

The Council of Punjab of Arts Rawalpindi (Pucar) organized a large musical night entitled “Mera Pakistan” to celebrate the 79th day of the independence of Pakistan.

The dynamic evening presented a rich range of patriotic performances aimed at promoting national unity, cultural heritage and the spirit of independence. The event presented bewitching performances of famous artists, notably Dr. Mubashra Hafiz, Ramez Ishaq, Daniyal Raja, Maryam Khan, Sajeel Rabia Dawood and the famous Kashmiri Qawaal group, which captivated the public with their moving remains and their patriotic melodies.

The event was followed by a large number of citizens, artists and culture enthusiasts, who praised Pacar’s efforts in preserving and promoting Pakistan’s cultural identity through such initiatives. The musical evening not only paid tribute to the sacrifices made for the independence of the country, but also recalled the unity and diversity which define the spirit of Pakistan and paid tribute to the soldiers who were responsible for the success of the operation Bunyan Ul Marsoos.

The parliamentary information secretary, Shazia Rizwan, was the main guest of the event. She appreciated the performance of the singers who delivered rich tributes to the Azadi heroes and songs dedicated to the PAK army for its commendable services and sacrifices. The director of the Muhammad Arts Council Shakoor said that independence day celebrations would continue until August 14.
