The ex-star of the old heartbreak of Tennessee Candace Parker reflects on the inheritance of Pat Summitt

Before winning some MVP Trophies from the WNBA, Candace Parker has become a national basketball importance at the University of Tennessee. Parker was a member of two winning teams in the national championship, winning the honors of the most remarkable players in the NCAA tournament along the way.

Lefkoe thanked Parker, then recalled another story than the triple WNBA champion told.

“We all want to have a relationship with someone as you did with Pat,” said Lefkoe. “I will never forget that you tell me how you arrived at university. Parker also sits on the board of directors of the Pat Summitt Foundation. The Foundation seeks to make progress in the search for Alzheimer’s.

Summitt is widely considered as one of the greatest coaches in the history of university basketball. She won eight national titles during her mandate in Tennessee.
