The former MLB star, David Justice, tried to move from the war of words rallimated between him and his ex-wife Halle Berry on Friday evening when he was on the red carpet for an event.
The judge and his current wife Rebecca Villalobos appeared at the celebrity dinner of the 25th anniversary of the Harold and the Carole Pump in Los Angeles. He was asked about the initial remarks he made about wanting Berry to be “maternal” when the two were married for the first time.

“Here’s what I could say – it’s my wife for 25 years. Take a look at my wife. She can cook, she knows how to cleanse, she knows how to raise a big family,” said Hollywood judge asked if he wanted to do anything. “We had three beautiful children and a beautiful little baby.
“So, I have nothing else to say about the lady of anyone other than my lady. … period.”
The judge recalled his relationship with Berry in an interview on the “All The Smoke” podcast. The two were married in 1993 and were officially divorced in 1997. The World Series champion pointed out what led to his split with the actress.
“Because I was young and I had only, honestly, was in a relationship before her, my knowledge and my understanding, my wisdom around relationships was simply not vast,” he said.
“So, I look at my mother and I am a guy from the Midwest. So, in my mind, I think that a woman at that time should cook, clean. So I think:” Ok, if we have children, is it the woman with whom I want to have children and build a family? “”

From the middle to the late 1990s, Berry had a contract with Revlon and had been in films like “Boomerang”, “Jungle Fever” and “The Last Boy Scout”.
“At that time, as a young man, she does not cook, does not clean, does not really seem to be maternal, then we start to have problems,” added the judge. “I’m going to say this, we have never had any problems about women, other men.”
Berry responded subtly in a post on Instagram.
“Phew…! Kitchen, cleaning and maternity,” she wrote in the legend of a photo with her current husband Van Hunt.
Justice obtained its first star sign in 1993 after their marriage. He was a star again in 1994 before the players embarked on strike. He joined the Cleveland Indians in 1997 and was then exchanged in the Yankees in 2000.

He also said that he and Berry “could probably have done it” if they were in therapy.
