There was no magic of the fourth quarter for JJ McCarthy at his second start of the NFL, while the Falcons of Atlanta managed the Vikings of Minnesota on the road to win their first game of the season, 22-6.
McCarthy stole a victory in Chicago last Monday after orchestrated a fourth trimester fascinating against the Bears. But the Falcons had all the answers from the young quarter-Arrière to “Sunday Night Football” to enter the column of victories.
McCarthy went 11 out of 21 in the air for 158 yards without affected and two interceptions in a game where he had a big game chances, but he simply did not have the right touch on his passes. With the absence of a successful racing game, the Falcons sent all types of pressure and McCarthy fell for six bags.

But McCarthy’s opponent Michael Penix Jr. also did not have the best games at the quarter-Arrière post. Penix was only 13 out of 21 for 135 yards without affected or interceptions. He also missed a few throws that could have led to a hit earlier than the Tyler Allgeier score in the fourth quarter, which was the dagger of the Falcons.

Although the passenger game was not effective for Atlanta, Star Running Back Bijan Robinson took over with 143 yards on the ground in 22 races to lead the game in this category. Drake London was the main receiver of Falcons with 49 yards on three receptions.
For the Vikings, Justin Jefferson had 81 yards, although he caught only three passes. After the second interception of McCarthy of the game on the last Vikings training, Jefferson was significantly frustrated on the sidelines, but which would not be when the offensive really clicked in the fourth quarter last week?
McCarthy and the Vikings hope to be more consistent from start to finish next week when they face the Bengals of Cincinnati, which should be without the quarter-Arrière Joe Burrow after having undergone an injury to the toes on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Falcons have returned to the road, but against a rival of the NFC South in the Panthers of Caroline next Sunday at 1 pm.
