Bajaur:
Local residents of Mamond Tehsil in the tribal district of Bajaur continue to flee their homes due to a continuous security operation in the region. The trip caused a wave of migration to safer regions, many families looking for shelter with parents.
In the absence of official government rescue camps, the Alkhidmat Foundation intervened to provide essential support. The organization has set up a rescue camp in Badishi, where displaced families are offered food, shelter and other necessities.
Remarkably, the Foundation also takes care of the needs of exhausted animals that accompanied the families on the run. Volunteers provide water and rest areas for livestock, recognizing their role in the life of displaced communities.
Despite the extent of the trips, no camp managed by the government has been established, leaving the population assigned largely dependent on private aid and the hospitality of parents in safer areas.
On the other hand, a mortar shell struck the house of a man named Saiful Malok in the Gohati of Mamond Tehsil region, injuring four people.
According to local sources, the wounded were identified as Gul Wali and Gulab Gul, son of Saaz Malok; Suleman, son of Gul Khan; and Syeda Jan, son of Muhammad Haleem, all residents of Gohati, Mamond.
The injured were transferred to the Larkholozo category hospital in Mamond for treatment. Among them, the state of a young man named Gul Walis would be critical.
