The former NFL coach attended conservative rallies, including March for Life, and was very open to his faith.

He even criticized Kamala Harris, a democratic candidate in this previous electoral cycle for his position on abortion rights.

Earlier this week, an article on X surfaced that Dungy was considering a race for the siege of the Michigan American Senate next year as a republican.
But the rumor was not founded, said NBC analyst.
“I don’t know where this idea comes from, but it didn’t come from me,” said Dungy.
“I love my original state of Michigan. I pray for them to choose a senator who honors the Lord and direct people well. But I can assure you that it will not be me.”
Dungy then gave fairly decent reasons on the reasons why he will not run.

Democratic senator Gary Peters will not seek a third term next year. He was elected for the first time in 201 and won a re -election six years later but in a much tighter race. He earned 49.9% of the vote against 48.2% by John James in 2020 after beating Terra Lynn Land convincingly, from 54.6% to 41.3%.

Georgia is the other state which will have an election seat in 2016, in a state won by President Donald Trump in November.

The Republicans have not won a race in the American Senate of Michigan for over 30 years, and the headquarters of Peters have been blue since 1972.
