A local court granted a deposit to Kamran Asghar Qureshi, the father of Armughan, the main suspect in the murder case Mustafa Aamir, in a case of illegal weapons.

The request for liberation under bail was heard by the additional judge of the district and the sessions (south), which approved the deposit against a deposit of 100,000 rupees.

During the hearing, the defense lawyer Khurram Awan argued that the case was baseless and recorded only because the accused is the father of Armughan. He said Kamran was wrongly involved in several cases.

The judge noted that the accused should be released if I do not wish in any other case.

According to the accusation, the anti-violent crime cell had reserved Kamran Asghar Qureshi after having recovered illegal weapons from his possession. In total, four FIRs were deposited against him.

Earlier, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi had extended the pre-trial detention of Armughan, the first suspect in the Mustafa Amir Murder case for an additional seven days.

The court ordered the investigation to submit a stage report at the next hearing. Prosecutors argued that more time was needed to recover a laptop and a mobile phone, which they think contain crucial evidence.

Armughan’s defense lawyer opposed the request, saying that the police had completed his investigation and that pre -trial detention was not necessary.

However, the court arose on the accusation side and approved the extension.

During the hearing, the judge asked if the evidence entered had been properly sealed, to which the investigation confirmed compliance. The court also allowed Armughan’s parents to meet him briefly.

In addition, according to a report, Armughan admitted the crime and explained the reasons for the murder of Mustafa.

The report revealed that Armughan directed a call center in a bungalow in the Khayaban-E-Momin region of Defense Housing Authority, where 30 to 40 boys and girls worked, as well as 30 to 35 security guards stationed in the premises. The bungalow would illegally sheltered three lion lions.

A interrogation report has also highlighted Armughan’s involvement in the business and drug use. Before the murder of Mustafa, Armughan, as well as his friend Shiraz, planned to burn Mustafa’s car and had already intended to harm him.

The report revealed that in 2019, Armughan was involved in a case concerning the importation of drugs, but he obtained a deposit in this case.

According to the investigation, Armughan himself was a drug addict. The day before the New Year, Armughan organized a party at the bungalow, where Shiraz was also present until 3 am. However, Mustafa did not attend the party.

The next day, Armughan and Mustafa had a personal dispute, which transformed a violent confrontation.

On January 6, Armughan invited Shiraz to the bungalow to take drugs together and Mustafa arrived around 9 p.m. During this meeting, Armughan attacked Mustafa with an iron rod.

Armughan and Shiraz stripped Mustafa from his clothes, linked his hands and feet with a white leaf and dragged her on the stairs.

Mustafa’s car was parked in the car park of the bungalow, and they placed his body in the trunk of the car, after which they took him to Hub.

When they could not find fuel in the car, Armughan took a fuel box from the bungalow.

The report explains that Armughan threw Mustafa’s mobile phone and other personal effects on the way.

They arrived at Hub around 4:30 am, poured gas on the car and set it on fire.
