The night agent season 2 is almost here – and, to celebrate its upcoming launch, Netflix has released its first five minutes early.
Two years after the spy thriller series became the latest original TV series to achieve massive success on Netflix, its second season is set to debut on the streaming giant this Thursday, January 23. Naturally, enthusiasm grows as we approach The night agentand, in an effort to tap into this growing fan fervor, Netflix took an in-depth look at the opening sequence of the season 2 premiere.
Unfortunately, you cannot view the images on YouTube or another social media platform, such as Instagram or X/Twitter. Indeed, you can only watch it via Netflix’s internal Tudum site, which is… a choice. I guess Netflix has to get people to visit the site somehow!

The episode opens in Bangkok, Thailand, with Gabriel Basso’s Peter Sutherland appearing to enjoy a date with someone other than Luciane Buchanan’s Rose. Hold your horses, though, folks, because he’s not exactly romantically involved with anyone else. Instead, he’s undercover with Brittany Snow’s Alice, his new mentor from the Night Agent Program, as the two follow someone they’re interested in.
Unsurprisingly, things go wrong soon after. After the duo split up to follow different people, Peter gets more than he bargained for when he is ambushed in a quiet alley. After firing a few warning shots from his now less concealed handgun, he is forced to flee as Alice desperately tries to locate and save him.
What time does season 2 of The Night Agent come out on Netflix?
We won’t know what happens to Peter and Alice in season 2 of one of Netflix’s best shows for a few days. Indeed, just as things start to get interesting from an action standpoint, the season 2 extended clip ends.
