The flood levels fall in the Sindh, the Punjab while the emergency work continues

The flood waters regularly move away from the Sindh dam network, while the Punjab reports river flows largely normal, according to the provincial supervisory authorities on Tuesday. Rescue operations remain booming between the provinces.

In Guddu and Sukkur, entries of 611,051 and 571,800 Cuses, respectively, always exceed the outputs of 27,900 and 53,680 Cusecases, but the two points recorded notable decreases compared to the previous days.

Similar discounts are reported in Kotri and Panjnad.

The Provincial Authority for the Management of Punjab (PDMA) disasters confirmed normal flows in industrial, Chenab and delighted rivers, with medium floods confined to the Sutlej basin and the confluence of Panjnad.

In Ganda Singhwala, the Sutlej records an average flood of 101,000 brackets, while the head of Islam is 81,000 cusers and Sulemanki shows a low flood at 90,000 cuses.

The Indus continues to circulate at manageable levels, with 196,000 Cuses in Tarbela, 169,000 in Kalabagh, 178,000 in Chashma and 161,000 in Taunsa.

Chenab’s flows remain moderate, ranging from 56,000 Cusecases to Marala to 80,000 at Head Trimmu, with the exception of an average flood wave of 234,000 Panjnad brands.

Sindh’s main minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said the provincial government was fully engaged in rescue and rescue efforts, guaranteeing food, drinking water, medical care and livestock support for affected people.

He reported that 3,522 people had been evacuated in the last 24 hours, bringing total relocations to 173,027, with 469 in emergency camps.

He added that 3,192 cattle had been moved on Monday, bearing total livestock relocations to 450,571. The veterinary teams vaccinated 39,589 animals in the last day, with an overall total of 1,305,573.

In the Sindh, 183 medical camps operate, dealing with 4,174 people in the last 24 hours and 92,958 to date.

The authorities of the two provinces remain on alert because forecasts warn against the new possible precipitation which could increase the levels of the rivers.
