Hernandez’s body was found about 70 miles from his home. According to Ktla in Los Angeles, the family called Hernandez this weekend, but his phone was replied by the coach, who said that Hernandez’s hands were covered with paint, and he could not answer the phone.

The family had a video with Hernandez earlier during the day.

The teenager had gone to the coach to help paint their team’s football jerseys, his mother, Gladys Maribel Bautista, the family reported on Sunday after his return to his home and his body was found three days later.

The coach is now considered a person of interest in the case and has been questioned.

The coach is not considered a suspect, and his identity has not been released because the police did not publicly confirm that he was the same person interviewed about the adolescent’s death.

Hernandez’s sister Alejandra told Fox 11 that the coach “even helped us look for Oscar”.

“We never thought he would harm him,” she said.
