Many of the highlights of the Boomer Esiason’s career in the NFL took place when he wore a uniform of the Bengals of Cincinnati.
EsiSon, the MVP of the 1988 League, was inducted into the Ring of Honor of Bengals two years ago. The team invited him to return for this year’s festivities, which will host a new group of former players at the special club.
But Esiason revealed that he will have to cover the hotel accommodation if he goes to Cincinnati in October to watch the introductory ceremony in class 2025.

EsiSon played the quarter-arre for Bengals for a decade in two stays. He read an email from the team describing the hotel’s costs during a recent episode of the radio program “Booter & Gio”.
“You tell me what this invitation is, then we can discuss it,” Esiason told his co-host, Greg Giannotti.

The information was welcomed with an apparent surprise, as Giannotti questioned: “Who dey? Who Dey thinks they make you pay for your own hotel room?”

Giannotti also noted that the email seemed to have been directed to several people. “How many people are in a ring of honor now? Eight? Very well, so they should receive different emails from this generic email,” he said.
