The veteran politician and former Punjab governor, Mian Muhammad Azhar, died on Tuesday, confirmed the PTI in an official declaration.
Azhar, a high -level political figure with a career of several decades in the public service, was currently a member supported by the PTI of the National Assembly. The party announced its disappearance on X, exposing condolences to his son, the leader of the PTI Hammad Azhar.
Following his death, tributes flocked political circles. The Minister of Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, described Azhar as “a noble person” and said that his “services will remain in the memories”.
