Islamabad:
Former judge of the High Court of Lahore (LHC), judge (RETD), Shahid Jamil, joined the Tehreek Tahaffuz-Eeen Pakistan, a movement defending the supremacy of the Constitution.
Judge (RETD) Jamil, who had resigned from his post some time ago, announced his decision at a press conference in Islamabad alongside the leaders of the movement.
“I am happy to be part of a struggle devoted to maintaining the supremacy of the Constitution,” he said. “The Constitution, based on the resolution of objectives, is a consensual document approved by all federative units.”
