The former NBA year coach Mike Brown called on Knicks’ next head coach: report

The New York Knicks had not progressed to the final of the Eastern Conference since 2000 before doing so in May. New York finally lost against the Indiana Pacers in six games.

Shortly after the release of the New York qualifiers, the Knicks announced that the organization would go from coach Tom Thibodeau.

A long search for coaching that followed, which included several refusals to request an interview. Wednesday, research would have resulted in the selection of Mike Brown. According to ESPN, the Knicks are expected to appoint Brown as the next trainer of the franchise.

A contract for Brown has not yet been finalized, but the two parties seem to progress in a formal agreement.

The arrival of Brown in New York occurs almost a month after the release of Thibodeau. Brown has spent the last three NBA seasons to train the Sacramento Kings. He also experienced two relays as a chief coaches of the Cleveland Cavaliers and directed the Los Angeles Lakers of 2011-12. He was appointed coach partner of the Golden State Warriors in 2016.

Brown has led to several major NBA notables, including LeBron James, Stephen Curry, the late Kobe Bryant and others in his career. Brown also spent several seasons learning under the five -time coach of the NBA final, Gregg Popovich, at the start of his career.

Brown led a team to the NBA final once in his coach career. Popovich and the Spurs swept the brown and the riders in the 2007 finals.
