Donald Driver, the former star of Green Bay Packers offered his position on transgender athletes in the sports of girls and women.
Driver spoke to PK Press Club Digital about the training of his own children in sport and shared his reflections on transgender athletes.

“I think, you know, God made you how he did you,” said Driver. “And I think, at the end of the day, if he made you a man, then you participate in male sports. He made you a woman, you participate in female sports. I think that at the end of the day, you cannot compete at this level.
“The girls are sometimes faster than guys, guys are sometimes faster than girls. Sometimes guys are stronger, sometimes girls are not. So, I think that, at the end of the day, this is how God did you, so you have to participate in the sport in which God has done you. You do in some way, so it’s the sport in which you compete.”
The question of transgender athletes in the sports of girls and women was a main subject of discussion of the re -election campaign of President Donald Trump in 2024. He took a clear position to keep the biological men of the sports of girls and women.

Ex-span star shares the position on transgender athletes in the sports of girls and women
Trump recently signed a decree to ban transgender athletes in sports for girls and women, which sparked legal battles between his administration and several states.
An investigation by the New York Times / Ipsos published in January showed that the vast majority of Americans, including a majority of democrats, do not think that transgender athletes should be allowed to compete in female sports.
Of the 2,128 people interviewed, 79% said that biological men who identify as women should not be allowed to participate in female sports.

Of the 1,025 people who have identified as a democrats or who lean a democrat, 67% said that transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete with women. Among 1,022 Republicans, this number was 94%.
