A former WWE wrestler was charged by a great jury from Tennessee after pretending to buy juvenile pornography in 2024.

Michael Droese, who went through Duke “Derne dumpster” Droese during his wrestling days from 1994 to 1996, faces a chief of attempted exploitation of a minor.

The District General of District Chris Stanford of the 31st Judicial District of Tennessee announced on Monday the indictment in a press release.

“This accusation worsened because Mr. Droese intended to buy the sexual assault equipment for children,” Stanford said in the press release. “The purchase of sexual assault equipment for children is an aggravated crime because the money used to buy the equipment is what continues to make the material of sexual assault for profitable children for criminal companies that produce it and sell it around the world.”

The press release said Droese was trying to buy juvenile pornography on the Dark Web using a Coinbase account on April 21, 2024. The company ended the purchase, reporting it in the process.

The FBI was less than the attempted purchase by Droese, who then declared to Jason Walker of the Sheriff department of the county of Warren in March.

The Tennessee investigation office was interrupted to help the Sheriff department, finally called on Droese.

Droese went after the Grand Jury charged him. It was reserved for the Sheriff department of the County of Warren and released after having deposited a deposit of $ 10,000.

The press release noted that Droese had worked with the 31st program of the Recovery Court of Adults from the Judicial District, which is also called “drug court”. He was a dui coordinator, while working for the program to other capacities before his current role.

Stanford said Droese had worked with any children during his stay with the program, and that he has since been ended in his post.

However, a WWE article in 2009 said Droese had moved to Tennessee after his career and became a primary school teacher for special education students. He would later be forced to leave his job after having sold oxycodone to an infiltrated officer in 2013.

If he is found guilty, he risks a possible sentence of two to four years in prison.
