To me it looks more like his classic look, but that could even just be his look. Fortnite design. As such, it’s difficult to say whether the teaser gives any indication of a new direction for the long-running franchise.
Developer Crystal Dynamics has announced that it has started work on a new tomb Raider game in 2022, although we haven’t had any updates since. Additionally, the studio has endured several rounds of layoffs, the most recent being just a few weeks ago.
With very little left to do, I just hope the new tomb Raider The reveal is for a whole new set of games. I loved the Crystal Dynamics trilogy which ended with Shadow of the Tomb Raiderbut I think it’s time to take a new direction.
Something a little more arcade and classic, with lots of color and real Indiana Jones-style adventures. Please, enough of the hard restarts.
