The Game Awards announced that their 2025 ceremony broke viewership records with approximately 171 million global live streams of the full broadcast.

The show was reported to be up 11% from the record-breaking 2024 showcase, which reached 154 million live streams and included only the full broadcast streams, not including any associated clips or trailers.
StreamCharts stats indicate that Twitch, YouTube and other Western platforms saw a peak of 4.4 million concurrent viewers combined, up 9% from TGA 2024.
The Game Awards on YouTube in particular grew 9% to over 2.4 million concurrent viewers, including 8,600 channels that co-streamed the ceremony, and simultaneously saw an 8% increase from the year-over-year peak to nearly 1.4 million.
Meanwhile, Twitch had over 1.8 million concurrent users watching simultaneously, with total unique viewers increasing 5% year-over-year, and hours watched also increasing 5% compared to TGA 2024. Co-streaming on the popular platform also reached a record 16,500 broadcasts, a 50% increase from 11,000 co-streamers on the 2024 TGA.
