The Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Karachi announced on Monday the resumption of visa and consular services for citizens of the non -European Union (EU).
This announcement comes after the consulate suspended its services for non-UE candidates a week ago.
In its previous statement, the consulate confirmed that this temporary closure applied to all non-UNE candidates, including those who have confirmed visa appointments, and said that these meetings had been canceled and would not be postponed.
The candidates concerned were invited to re -register through the consulate online appointment system once the services have resumed.
Earlier this month, the Swedish government announced the resumption of visa services in Islamabad, facilitating short-term visits to Sweden for Pakistani nationals.
In June, the American consulates of Karachi and Lahore published new instructions demanding that candidates for non -immigrant visas of F, M and J to make their accounts of social media public.
