- Intel’s Raptor Lake Core i9-13900hk delivers 14 cores and 20 sons
- Supports four 8K screens with several connectivity options
- External antennas improve Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity
The GMKTEC K10 has joined other mini PC Powerhouses, such as the Geekom Mini IT13 and Beelink GTI12 Ultra, by presenting Intel Core i9 processors.
The K10, is powered by the Intel i9-13900HK nucleus, a Lac Raptor chip with 14 cores – Six performances and eight efficient – supporting a total of 20 threads.
By minimachines (originally in French), the chip operates between 4.1 GHz and 5.4 GHz, includes 24 MB of cache and incorporates Intel Iris graphics with 96 execution units operating at 1.5 GHz.
High performance equipment
The GMKTEC K10 offers three PCIE Gen4 X4 M.2 2280 NVME machines, supporting up to 24 TB of SSD storage. For memory, it supports up to 96 GB of RAM DDR5-5200 via two SODIMM locations, which makes it ideal for use as a server of small businesses.
Wireless connectivity is managed by an Intel AX201 module, offering Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. However, due to the potentially disturbing disturbing signal, external antennas are recommended to improve reception.
Measuring 18.86 cm in width, 17.8 cm deep and 3.89 cm thick, the design of the K10 accommodates a cooling system which consists of a passive thermal dissipator, a double heat and a metal fin on the rear.
The front panel has a 3.5 mm combo audio socket, two Type A USB 3.2 ports, a 3.2 Type C USB port with DisplayPort output and two USB 2.0-type ports.
The rear has two other USB 3.2 type A and USB 2.0 ports, a double HDMI 2.0 output, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a Gigabit Ethernet port of 2.5, a com port and a Kensington lock.
These ports are numerous, especially for the release to several 4K and 8K screens via the best portable ssd.
But don’t be too excited – GMKTEC announced the K10 for its release in China, but has nothing to say about availability or international prices.
