Hadden Kelly, a 17 -year -old high school golfer, died on Monday in Georgia after suddenly collapsed in a courtyard, confirmed the Coroner of the County of Dodge Joe Smith this week.
Smith told WGXA News that Kelly, his back, participated in “return activities” in a residence alongside his friend when he collapsed in the courtyard. Kelly did not respond and then declared dead on the scene.
Smith added that Kelly’s body was sent for an autopsy to determine his cause of death.

“Hadden was an outgoing child and he never met a foreigner,” said Smith at the station.
Kelly was a passionate golfer who worked at Dodge County Golf Club and was a member of the Dodge County High School golf team. The school golf coach Paula Selph, and the team shared a message after Kelly’s death on the school’s Facebook page.

“Hadden loved golf course and the golf team surely likes Hadden,” read the post. “Hadden was our team leader, encouraging and still pronouncing positive words for all around him. He hoped so much that our golf team would continue to improve and desperately seeking participation in the state tournament. He had always stayed until each member of the team finished.
“What a witness to his character! We love Hadden and we love her family! Our thoughts and our prayers go to the family. Take this example of altruism in our own life and make few people a better place!

Smith also talked about Kelly’s love for golf game.
“He played every day, and I think if that was something he wanted to do, he would have become pro because he was so good.”
Dodge County High School also published his own Facebook declaration.
