- A detailed leak of the specifications suggests that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could have an IP68 note
- It could also have a large 5,015mah battery, among other upgrades
- However, his cameras may not be improved
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is in many ways a very impressive foldable phone, but it has a few weaknesses, and going to the last leak, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold may not have these same problems.
Android is shared a detailed list of Pixel 10 Pro Fold specifications, and one of the most catchy aspects is the claim of a 5,015 mAh battery. Not only does this significantly higher capacity than the 4,650 mAh battery in the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, but it is also much larger than the 4,400 mAh battery in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Samsung has not at all increased the ability of Z Fold 7, so this is one of the most disappointing aspects of this phone.
According to this leak, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold will also be the first foldable phone to have an IP68 rating. This would mean that it is dust waterproof and can be overwhelmed up to 1.5 meters deep in water for up to 30 minutes.
Now, this is a note that is commonly found on high -end non -repressable handsets, but foldable phones have really struggled with dust resistance, with the Samsung Galaxy Z Pl 7, for example, having only a note IP48, which is the same level of water resistance, but means that it can only withstand dust particles which are greater than 1 mm in size.
A better screen but no change in cameras
There are also other specifications listed, and some of them are also improvements in the Pixel 9 Pro fold. The upcoming phone is said to have a 6.4 -inch cover screen for example (against 6.3 inches on the current model), but due to smaller glasses, the actual size of the handset may not increase.
This screen also had a boost of brightness, reaching up to 3,000 nits (compared to 2,700 nits on the current model), and of course, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold should have a new Tensor G5 chipset – although an early lower suggests that it might not be too powerful.
Other details including included 16 GB of RAM again, but with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB of storage – the last of which would be new.
Unfortunately, the cameras of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold may not be upgraded, the same pretending source expects a main camera of 48 MP, a 10.5 MP telephoto lens of 10.8 MP (with a 5x optical zoom) and a pair of 10 MP oriented cameras, which would all be a match for last year’s phone.
However, we take all these specifications with a pinch of salt, because with the exception of the chipset, the majority of this comes only one source. But we must know with certainty what specifications that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold soon, because it is likely to land next month, August 20 being on the date of announcement.
