- Some unpublished pixel phones have been identified on FCC and IMDA databases
- Their presence suggests that these handsets will soon be launched
- Curiously, however, only three models are listed, while we expect four in the Pixel 10 series
It is likely that the Google Pixel 10 series will soon launch (now probably on August 20), and now there is another sign of its imminent arrival, because three new Google phones have been spotted on certain official databases.
Xpertpick (via Notebookcheck) identified the lists of these devices on the basis of the United States FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and a database for Singaporean IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority).
These types of databases are places where phones must be listed before their launch, and announcements generally appear very shortly before the announcements. Thus, the appearance of these pixel phones suggests that we could be a few weeks before the arrival of the Pixel 10 series.
Mentioned by model number
It should be noted that the devices are not mentioned by their name. Instead, they gave model numbers, with a device that would be Pixel 10 being mainly listed like GK2MP, the Pixel 10 Pro mainly listed as Gehn3, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL listed mainly as G45RY.
We say “especially” because there are also other model numbers, but Xpertpick thinks that these are only variants of the above phones.
It is interesting, however, that there are apparently only three distinct models listed here, since we expect four models of pixels 10, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also likely to be in the mix. However, we would not see much his absence, because we have not seen any other indication that this will not be launched or that he will land later.
We should discover it soon anyway, because the leaks suggest that the Pixel 10 series will be announced on August 20.
