Tigers launcher, Tarik Skubal, launched the ground that struck Fry in the face when he was trying. He was shaken during the room.

“It’s really difficult,” he told journalists on Tuesday evening, via MLB.com. “I have already contacted him. I am sure that his phone explodes. I just want to make sure he is going well. Obviously, it seemed to be out of the field, and I hope it will stay like this. I sometimes know with these things, they can change, so I hope he is fine.

“But I can’t wait to, hope, at one point this evening or tomorrow morning, receive an SMS from him and make sure he is all good, because there are things that are bigger than the game, and the health of him is more important than a baseball match.”
