Rawalpindi:
The planned hearing of the Toshakhana II affair against the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, and his wife Bushra Bibi, who would take place on Monday at Adiala prison (today), was once against cancelled. A new date will be announced, according to the lawyer for the founder of the PTI, Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry.
Chaudhry said on Sunday that the personnel of the court had informed the lawyers of the PTI that the court would now meet at the Islamabad judicial complex, where the fresh hearing date would be fixed. The last hearing of the case was held on February 17.
He pointed out that the pace of legal proceedings against the founder of the PTI varied considerably.
“Sometimes the cases are pushed forward at lightning speed, while at other times, they continue at a snail rate,” he said.
