The Russell Wilson era may be over for New York giants, but its impact on the faithful culture of the team may persist.
Wilson is expected to be set up by the Giants in favor of the Recruit Jaxson Dart Quarterrier this week, according to several reports, ending Wilson’s race as a team starter after only three games.
Wilson entered his first season with New York with the mentality to “help the New York giants win daily,” he said at PK Press Club Digital. But along the way, he also brought his faith in the team’s locker room.

Wilson told PK Press Club Digital before the season, in July, that he and his teammates of the Giants had regular biblical studies.
“We have a lot of guys who are super strong on their faith,” said Wilson. “We have our biblical studies throughout the week and the things we do as a collective group. I know that each team does different things, and we also have a lot. And we are simply grateful to do what we have to do. I am grateful to be a New York giant, and I thank God every day.”

Wilson was one of the most Christian quarters of the NFL throughout his career.
His successor to Dart is also a devout Christian. Dart is only the third quarter of Mormon in the history of the NFL and a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Holy Days.
Wilson gave his opinion on Dart’s ability compared to Wilson as a recruit, when he exceeded the former veteran on the quarter-Arrière Matt Flynn of the Seattle Seahawks To win the starting work.
“I think Jaxson is a very good worker. He is a very good teammate. He was a guy who had a very good university career,” said Wilson in July.
Wilson signed a one-year and $ 21 million contract with the team during the offseason, while Dart was selected by the team with the 25th choice in total to the NFL draft after exchanging in the first round to obtain the quarter.

When Wilson exceeded Flynn as a quarterrier starting from Seattle in 2012, Flynn had just signed a $ 26 million contract over three years. Wilson, a recruit, had been selected in the third round of the draft of the year, but ended up beating the veteran for the departure post before week 1. Wilson led the Seahawks to a sheet of 11-5 and a victory in the playoff series during his first year, before led the team to a super Bowl victory the following season in 2013.
Now Wilson is at the other end of this dynamic, looking at the young Dart as a starter of the giants this week against the Los Angeles loaders.
And the two will probably rely on their faith to cross this transition.
