According to a press release from house CM, Karachi received 245 millimeters of narcotic rain in just 12 hours. Torrential rains have led to numerous urban floods, to paralyze the traffic system and to extend the infrastructure of the city.
The officials informed the meeting that, even if several major roads remain flooded, drainage efforts are underway. The rain sewers actively unload rainwater, and certain major arteries have been partially eliminated, but the challenges persist.
