- The disclosed images show a small modular portable camera
- Suggests that the DJI Osmo nano will compete with the insta360 GB 3S
- Release date The rumor next month, before another new Insta360 model
They can be granular, but the images disclosed from the DJI Osmo Nano excited me. If the fixed images are legitimate – and they seem quite convincing – DJI could be about to launch its smallest portable action camera to date. This is great news if you are a creator who draws a first person content for social. He also seems ready to make things happen on the action cam market.
Judging by the images, which you can see in the integrated X pole below, the Osmo Nano, the rumor, is addressed to the Insta360 GB 3S. This action camera mounted on the magnet establishes the norm for hands -free shooting. With a tiny design and flexible mounting options, it allows you to easily capture creative pov images. For this reason, we need the best modular honors in our list of the best action cameras.
Based on the Dji Osmo Nano fixed images disclosed, it has a camera unit of similar size which can be fixed magnetically to the clothes. There also seems to be an optional modular screen block for those who wish to supervise photos or review images on the fly. Of course, Dji has confirmed anything – but the leaks come from a reliable source. The product certainly resembles the game.

Dji from?
The disclosed images – initially published on Chinese social media before being taken over by Dji Leaker @quadro_news – show the cut camera at the front of a t -shirt, probably held in place by a magnetic support. Due to the low resolution of fixed images, it is difficult to say if there is a protective case.
Of course, DJI has a shape with regard to modular action cameras. The DJI Action 2 was launched in 2021 with an innovative modular design. It has separated from the Gopro style form factor established, in favor of a small square camera unit which could be magnetically attached to different modules, including a battery and a display block.
Although action 2 has its fans, it was not proof of the most convincing concept. He ran hot and struggled in low light. The seal did not extend to the modules either. In short, he did not nail the case of use in the first person. In the end, Dji returned to a traditional action cam design with the DJI Osmo Action 3.
This is why Osmo Nano’s leak is so exciting. It looks like Dji’s second swing to something that could really disturb the portable camera space. It also represents a diversification for DJI: not to be content to come up against Gopro on the mud and glance market, he suggests that Dji also wishes to respond to occasional creators.
If you vlog, cook or just want to record content from a natural human perspective, the Osmo Nano could be the most interesting DJI product for years. A featherweight, clip and obliging action camera that leaves your hands completely free? It is a different proposal for everything in its range.
People in disclosed images also seem to wear microphones, which suggests that the DJI Osmo Nano will support audio recording via a wireless microphone, such as the DJI Mic Min. It was a missing functionality at the OSMO Action 2 – and one already offered by the OSMO Action 5 Pro.
Of course, there are still a lot of unknowns. We do not know specifications, video resolution, stabilization or battery life. We don’t even know if “Osmo Nano” is the final name. After all, Dji has already abandoned and relaunched the OSMO brand. But the form factor alone suggests a very different product from contemporary DJI cameras. If it is correct, it could be the start of a new line intended for creators who care more about portability than control.
I will look carefully for more details. If it is really a first -person camera that mixes DJI imaging chops with insta360 style portability, the OSMO Nano could become the portable camera to beat. Part of this will be summed up with reliability and user experience, factors that I can only assess when it is available for examination.
On the basis of other leaks, I will not have to wait a long time to discover it: as we have recently reported, the model could hide in early July 2025, alongside the DJI 360 – which would be the first 360 -degree camera of Dji.
