It now seems very likely that the iPhone 17 series – and in particular the iPhone 17 Pro – will cost more than the iPhone 16 series, the last leak pointing to a price increase of $ 50 for the iPhone 17 Pro.
This tip comes from Leaker Instant Digital (via macrumors), and they actually made the same complaint for the price increase in iPhone 17 before. So they repeat it here, but it shows that they are always confident in its precision. This is not all bad news either, because Instant Digital also indicates that there will be no 128 GB model, so you will get 256 GB for your money instead.
At $ 50 more than the current iPhone 16 of 128 GB, the iPhone 17 Pro would start at $ 1,049, but again, it is with 256 GB of storage, and since the iPhone 16 of 256 GB costs $ 1,099, this could actually be considered a price drop for the iPhone 17 pro – at least for anyone who wants 256 GB.

Note that we have not included the air of the iPhone 17 because it is a completely new model, so there is no price history with which to work. Please note, there is a good chance that this has a price similar to the iPhone 16 Plus – or perhaps cost $ 50 more, in accordance with what we intend to talk about other iPhone 17 models.
