- Apple would target vloggers with the iPhone 17 series
- It can replace a digital camera dedicated to video creators
- For the moment, it is not clear what could be all the potential video upgrades
We are gradually learning more and more about what Apple has in store for us with the iPhone 17 later this year, and a new report suggests that the four phones will focus particularly on video recording features.
“In recent years, Apple has focused more on the camera taking of the camera,” writes Mark Gurman in his power on Newsletter to Bloomberg. “This year, it stresses the improvement of video recording.”
Gurman is one of the most reliable Apple advice in the company, and he says that Apple targets the “Vlogging community” and the “video creators” to move away from autonomous cameras and use their iPhones to Place.
It is not clear if there will be new video recording features, or exactly what they might be, but it seems that Apple was going to do media threw when it comes to launching the iPhone 17 (most likely in September).
Current high -end iPhones, the iPhone 16 PRO and the iPhone 16 Pro Max, can record the video at a maximum resolution of 4K and up to 120 images per second. Multi-Flux prors and 3D space recording are also supported.
Potential upgrades
If Apple wants to introduce new video features on the iPhone 17, what could they be? And will they offer enough for the Vloggers to leave their dedicated digital cameras behind and go to the iPhone?
A boost in the megapixels is expected, as is a new telephoto sensor. On the hardware side, better audio and video capture would certainly call, as is a boost to optical video stabilization for these smooth and extensive shots.
There are probably software improvements and on the AI side – perhaps something to correspond to the erasure of the audio magic of the pixel which cuts back the background and can identify different types of sound (like song or the buzzing of traffic).
However, even if the iPhone 17 obtains these features, it will not completely replace the best vlogging cameras. Tim Coleman, Techradar cameras editor, said: “If a future iPhone 17 Pro must be taken seriously by the aspirants and professional filmmakers, Apple has cut work because we would need to see several material improvements equipped with the greater upgrade of the camera.
“This is in particular the quality of lenses, and for vloggers in particular a spectacular improvement in the quality of the selfie camera. An ND filter integrated with a kind of pro mode in the application of native camera offering a control of ‘Manual exposure, including the opening and the shutter, the images feel more natural and premium.
Whatever happens, dedicated professional video cameras are probably still there. “Today’s vlogging cameras have evolved to keep them in advance on the best smartphones, such as the iPhone 16 Pro. The DJI Osmo Pocket 3, for example, has an integrated cardan for stabilization and gentle after the subject “Note our camera publisher.
“The tastes of The Panasonic GH7 and Sony ZV-E1, on the other hand, have much more important sensors than iPhones and a richness of prodigious recording modes. There is still some time” added.
However, although the iPhone 17 series is not a main camera for many filmmakers, it could well bring pro -friend features to a new audience – and we are impatient to find out what are these features later this year.
