Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), the founding president, Imran Khan, said that the judges were appointed to the judiciary for the sole purpose of keeping Imran Khan in prison.
Addressing the media outside of Adiala prison, she transmitted the message of Imran Khan, declaring that recent developments clearly indicate a deliberate effort to imprison the founder of the PTI and dismantle the party.
Aleema Khan said that for three years, various plots have been orchestrated with the main objective of ensuring that Imran Khan remains imprisoned and that the PTI is eliminated.
“His government was overturned, people were subjected to the oppression and the May 9 incident was staged as a false flag operation. More than 100,000 raids were carried out on houses.” -He said.
She also pointed out the 26th amendment, saying that he had been introduced to bring judges who would serve the interests of the government.
“Our justice system has capable judges who can do justice, but they need those who will exert pain and keep Imran Khan in prison,” she said.
Aleema also referred to the decision of 190 million pounds sterling, saying that it was decided to ensure that the judges of the high court maintain the conviction during the call process, resulting in the legal proceedings of two at three more years.
She allegedly alleged that the judges of the Supreme Court were now strategically appointed to ensure that Imran Khan stayed in prison.
In addition, she criticized Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), declaring that she had been introduced to suppress social media.
“A law has been promulgated today which allows authorities to imprison anyone who is expressed on social networks,” she said.
She concluded by declaring that the rule of law was seriously compromised, leaving little hope for justice by the courts.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan wrote a letter to the chief of staff of the army (COAS), General Asim Munnir, “criticizing the policies of the establishment” and calling for an examination of his approach to security national and governance.
The letter, sent from Adiala prison, highlights Imran’s concerns concerning what he describes as an increasing disconnection between the army and the public, reported Express News.
According to PTI lawyer, Faisal, Fareed Chaudhry, who revealed the content of the letter to journalists, Imran stressed that the fight against terrorism can only succeed if the nation is united behind the armed forces.
Imran argued that “the establishment argued those who have benefited twice from the National Ordinance of Reconciliation (NRO)”, a reference to the previous political colonies which allowed leaders to escape the accusations of corruption.
He also expressed his concerns about the country’s economic instability, the conduct of recent general elections and state actions against his party.
